Best Double Dough pizza in the area! It is delicious! We love getting our pizza from Grand Stand. They have fair prices, quick delivery times (always say 45 mins, but usually between 30-40 mins) and a nice local establishment to support!

Hands down the best thin crust pizza around. Chicago is a deep dish city but it does have some decent thin crust options. Grand Stand is by far the best them all. The pizza stays intact while it being eaten, unheard of with inferior thin crusts. The cheese is flavorful, with just the right amount of seasoning, and of course the crust. Flawless is the only word that could do it justice. The perfect amount of pliability and crunch with a hint of flour dusted over it. The meat toppings are fresh and not too salty and compliment each pizza. The staff is delightful, you don't need to be a regular to feel you're getting the extra service. As the name states, it's more of a stand than a restaurant. Seating is available although not abundant. The extra space is needed for the kitchen to create their masterpieces. If you need a thin crust fix, Grand Stand is the only place I would recommend. It's easy to get to and is definitely worth the trip.

I always grub hub this place, always ! Pizza is pretty good and the chicken Caesar wrap is amazing. The chicken salad was disappointing though. Delivery is quick and staff is friendly. I would give them 5 stars but the phone service is unbearable. Sometimes you are on hold for minutes at a time and have to listen to elevator music or some sort of background noise. So annoying that the first few times I called I thought I called the wrong number. To avoid all that grub hub is the way to go

Ordered a large thin crust with spinach, garlic, and sausage. It was a solid pizza with real ingredients and definitely took care of my pizza craving late at night. Perfect for dinner, midnight snack and breakfast.

Got their flier in the mail and figured we'd give them a shot. Called up, placed order which took awhile, and finally at end they asked where we lived. Edge of Chicago where Elmwood Park and Oak Park are, few blocks East of Harlem, and they said nope, they don't serve our area. Spoke to the manager who finally said he'll send the driver but be sure to give him "a decent tip." Not sure what kind of place advertises where they don't deliver, but that's a waste of my time and your advertising efforts, and beyond that don't insult me after wasting my time and tell me to tip your driver well for doing his/her job. Pizza fail.

Pretty good pizza. Decent cannoli and a large menu selection. I had to wait longer than I thought necessary for my 1 slice of 'roni. I'd come back to sample their veal parm and garlic bread, though. Protip: checking in on Yelp will net you a free, small Italian Ice! Hopefully you like lemon (and a lot of it), because it's the only flavor they have, and a "small" is actually pretty large. A generously-sized freebie.

AMAZING thin crust pizza! Super fast delivery. Will never order pizza anywhere else!

Meh.. I use to love Grand Stand. I don't dislike it now, but I just feel like it went down in quality some. I will continue to order still. I also still really enjoy the BLT pizza. I just feel like the price is a bit high. The veggie and BLT are $28 for the 18 inch size. Which isn't uncalled for but there is also other options in the area for a little less. I'd still recommend people try it, esp the BLT because I haven't found any place that does it better! But for veggie lovers you can save a little money and try other places and wouldn't miss out. I also had a bad customer service experience which I've never had before so maybe it was just an off night. I had a $2 off coupon for a large or extra large pizza. I ordered for pick up and mentioned the coupon and was told to bring it in. When we tried to use it the lady gave us a liter of pop and said the total was $27.and change. I said what about the $2 off and she said that is why I got the liter of pop. I looked at my boyfriend just in case, make sure I didn't hear her wrong. My boyfriend then told her that we did not want the pop, we just simply want the $2 off. She fixed the price, it was just weird. Not that its a big deal, it is only $2 but, just felt like I should be honest about my latest visit.

My family and I order from Grand Stand a lot since we enjoy their pizza and wing specials. I also love their stuffed shells. They always hit the spot but ... It seems as though almost every single time we order delivery, they forget something. On more than one occasion it has been the drinks. We anticipate our meal to be complimented with refreshing drinks but to our dismay none are presented. We've also ordered tiramisu on a number of occasions but most times it tastes as though it's old and just watery. Not appealing to the stomach. Service can go either way. Previous times you would call and instead of someone telling/asking you to please hold they would automatically just ding you. Not cool. Most times the delivery guys are nice and funny although It does get awkward being asked about tipping with their new credit card machines. I don't know, but this one is a give and take to me.

I had Grand Stand Pizza deliver a pizza to my airport hotel. They were recommended by the hotel front desk. It was a good recommendation. Ordering during lunch I thought it would arrive late and cold, it didn't. Maybe 1/2 hour later I had a hot pizza delivered to my door. The thin crust had a very good flavor, topped with not too much sauce and cheese. It was a bit different in that it was a round pie cut into squares. The pizza while not overly remarkable was still better than 90% of what you will typically find at most local pizzerias. If I was a local I could see Grand Stand Pizza being my go to place. I thought pricing was a bit high, one way to help offset the pricing is to check out their website for coupons. There's no need for a coupon in hand, ask then to apply coupon when you place you order. I recommend Grand Stand Pizza.

My favorite place to order for pizza. Their cheese is the best part and they have awesome slices.

I have eaten here twice now for lunch and both times was not disappointed. The first time I had split a buffalo chicken and chicken ranch wrap with a co worker. The chicken ranch wrap could've used more ranch, and the buffalo chicken a bit less buffalo but overall they were very good. Large in size, and delivery was quick. The second time I had ordered the polish with fries special, and I was actually quite surprised.. The sausage was on french bread, and it was grilled to perfection. I was very impressed with the overall taste, as well as the amount of food I got for $4.95. All the food arrived within a timely manner, and it was still hot and fresh when it arrived.

Easily the best thin crust I've ever had. When I lived in Franklin Park, I would order the party size with wings every weekend! Definitely amazing when freshly made although don't let it get cold and reheat, it does not have the same great taste. Whenever I am in the area I stop by and buy a whole box, definitely recommend stopping by to taste it. Definitely worth an hour drive to taste.

Not only does the Grand Stand have the best pizza around, the staff is always pleasant and professional. We usually have delivery, but have done pick-up as well. The pizza is always made perfectly as ordered. We have never had a "bad" pizza. I have had a few other menu items, and loved those as well. The stuffed shells rival any other Italian restaurant I have been to. We usually go for thin crust, but they do a great stuffed pizza.

  • Laurie V.

Cheap. Good. Quick delivery to O'Hare area hotels. I had the Italian beef sandwich with grilled sweet peppers. It came with a side of deliciously salty, greasy fries. (And greasy is equated with delicious, in my book.) I also had a big giant brownie. Portion size was huge. Delivery was fast. Food was yummy. Prices were great.

I am new in the area and all i can say is hands down this place beats them all! Their pizza is always fresh and on time. I will continue to spread the world about is awesome place. Great place! Great food! Great service! Highly recommended!

  • Julian R.

Being from Franklin Park I think my review may be slightly biased. That being said, I really love their pizza. That's all I ever order from there, a pepperoni pizza. Once in a while I'd go in and get myself a slice, which is double dough. DELICIOUS. If you're in the area, be that living here or just passing by, I highly recommend this pizza place. You won't be disappointed.

Grand stand has the best thin crust pizza hand down! I don't know what their secret ingredient is but there is a certain taste to it that separates them from the rest. It's is absolutely fantastic!

  • Jennifer D.

Really solid thin crust pizza. The sauce especially was very tasty. There was also a surprising amount of non-pizza options for a pizza place, which others customers ordered and looked tasty. The place is definitely better set up for pick up and delivery, as the restaurant is small. With that said, we ate in the restaurant. The restaurant has nice high ceilings and a warm, welcoming walls painted yellow. The employees were very courteous.

  • Areli R.

Pizza is amazing but that's about all that's thumbs up on their menu. They need to polish up on their customer service skills as the girls sound like all they wanna do is rush the customer off the phone!

  • Guad P.

If you like thin crust, this is your place! Their sausage is actually sausage none of the cheap shit. Their portions and sizes are generous and their prizes are reasonable. Also try their italian ice. Yum.

Restaurant: Small but cozy. Menu is visible and counter is awkwardly high if you're short. A few seats and tables and 1 tv. Pizza: I usually only order slices. 90% of the time when I visit they're out of pepperoni pizza which sucks. I dot have time to wait 10-20 minutes for a slice. So I leave. They need to make double the pepperoni pizza they usually have. But when they do have it, it's A1 I love it and you will too. Fries: Decent. Final Verdict: if you want a pepperoni slice chances are they're out so don't bother unless you have time to kill. I'd visit here again.

No other pizza cravings compare than to the ones I have for Grand Stand Pizza. A slice of cheese pizza on double dough with a cup of Italian ice on the side totally hits the spot for a quick, tasty, and affordable teat. I also love the chicken Cesar wraps! Jon and Mike are great guys and definitely run a great business!

  • Aileen M.

Great pizza, fast service, delicious Italian ice - and I love supporting a truly local business. When I moved to Franklin Park years ago, a "Welcome to the Neighborhood" coupon from Grand Stand appeared in my mailbox. When I called to make my first order (to feed a crew of friends and family helping me paint) and mentioned the coupon, the guy on the other side of the phone said something to the effect of "Great! That was me! I sent you that coupon! I hope you like the pizza!" I'm moving soon, and ordered out to help fuel the box packing fire. The deliveryman appeared at my door singing a Christmas carol (we just got our first snow of the season) with a piping hot pizza. I'm still smiling. Keep up the great work.

I tried their gluten free pizza, there IS definite cross contamination in the kitchen. I have celiac and got sick immediately after eating the pizza. If you have celiac Do Not eat the pizza.

Love the new website and already used the online ordering this afternoon. It's really convenient to have the option to order online or use the iphone app. People don't like to call anymore so a busy restaurant wont have to place me on hold. Every time I'm in the area I make sure to order a pie.

This place makes an OUTSTANDING thin crust pizza. Crust is crisp, cheese and sauce are proportionately layered on and the topping are fresh and plentiful. I have also had their Italian breaded steak and panzerotti and no complaints with either.

  • Mike W.

I have tried other pizza places in the area, Grand Stand destroys the competition hands down. Nothing like a pepperoni on thin crust made right! I have tried their other menu items, best stick to the pizza! I gave them five stars because they are a pizza restaurant, and that is what they are famous for - not their other menu items. Good pizza!

  • Jie S.

I'm not a pizza person. I only eat them when I have no other choices or it is free. But thanks for whoever ordered from Grand Stand Pizza at our work place, I found my favorite pizza: Margarita pizza. A thin-crust pizza was a bit burnt on the edge with cheese and the only topping - Basil leaves. Crunchy and refreshing. It was just a perfect mix for me. And I was not the only one loving it. The Margarita pizza was gone first even before the Pepperoni and Sausage ones. Their salad came with lots of mushroom and black olives. I like them too. Who knew you could put Basil on the pizza and it tastes this good? Such a great idea. Now, I should just call around the pizza places near my house and ask for Margarita pizza.

Pros: shyts flame. Double dough tho. Cons: The mushrooms, i love mushrooms, Are small and flimsy...Might just be canned mushrooms that get even weaker after they are ovenized. JAKES pizza down the street are definitely whole sliced mushrooms that never seen the inside of a can. Over all// Shyts flame

Stuck in Chicago due to a pop-up snow storm that caused your flight to be cancelled? What's a girl to do? Keep calm and eat healthy? Hell no. Flip out and pig out is my motto. So the bf and I ordered up a "small" stuffed pizza with the works. We had it delivered to the hotel and they were pretty speedy. The pizza came piping hot and it was HUGE! Pizza for breakfast anyone? I love to eat and my boyfriend always leaves an empty plate but we both struggled to eat these massive slices of pizza. I don't know jack about a Chicago pie but it tasted delicious to me. The cheese was overflowing abundantly with oozy, gooey delicious flavor. The marinara sauce was really well seasoned with a sprinkle of parmigiana on top. Grand Stand does not cheat you on the goods. This pizza came stuffed with juicy sausage, peppers, onions and mushrooms. My belly was happy and all's well that ends well, right? I definitely had a happy ending thanks to Grand Stand Pizza. But maybe everything happens for reason? I mean I wouldn't have had the chance to sample some of Chicago's pizza unless I had gotten stuck there.

Oh Boy! - This be some damn good pizza. Long has it been since the days of yore, when pizza of thine, received so lofty a score. But lo, your sauce was split, twixt salty and sweet, your crust light and airy, your garnishes complete. I yearned, as Telemachus, for paternal tidings, and found my mouth, with each bite, widening. My maw splitting open, like Hercules' Gates, my stomach re-sizing, as I began to salivate. Tho once I was a sinner, I now have found Jesus, ensconced in the tomb of your fair Sorrento cheeses. Yea, I can write no further, I am but now ravished skin and bone, but trust mine friend, I'll pick you up on my way home. Seriously, eat this pizza.

  • John W.

Looking for a new pizza place, my usual is Papa Johns. The reviews here have been good. I must say that it is great pizza, stone deck ovens, excellent ingredients. Crust was good, pizza flavor was average, I would prefer more bite to the sauce a bit saltier. This was more sweet. That being said, staff was extremely friendly, and dining area will do for a couple on a date or a small family. Will definitely be coming back!

  • Monica S.

I'm literally sitting here, pizza in hand, drafting a review! That's how good it is! The pizza has the perfect balance of cheese and a light fluffy crust- it virtually melts in your mouth! I've been coming here for years but even after leaving my hometown and traveling all over the country this place still beats any pizza joint in Chicago and New York COMBINED. BOOM!

  • Prem S.

I grew up ordering grand stand pizza and it is the best I've ever had. I've since moved and I crave it! Double dough pizza is my favorite. Lemon garlic chicken is to die for. Italian combo is ridiculous. Everything they make is seriously amazing. These guys really know what they're doing! Ugh now I want it. Thanks a lot yelp.

  • Bryan L.

GRAND STAND THAT DEAL! Heard about em via Yelp, the rest was history, had the sausage and cheese pizza. Delivered within the hour and i ordered it with like 30 minutes left! Great customer service, wings were decent as well. Pros: Customer Service Great Pizza Love the specials selection Cons: A lil pricey, but you get what you pay for! For thin crust pizza around the area, look no further! Happy eating people!

  • Melanie V.

The pizza is so good. You can tell by the smell of it as soon as you walk into the door that it is going to be good. Over the years I've had hundreds of pizzas from Grand Stand! I am partial to thin crust and theirs truly is one of the best if not the best. I love the spinach and garlic. I have not ordered any of the other menu items so I can't comment on anything else.

Great pizza place. I think they're the best. They even won some awards for best pizza. they're thin crust and stuffed pizza are awesome I'd skip the pan.

I work at a school and I promised my students I'd give them a pizza party. A coworker of mine recommended Grand Stand, and I'm going to recommend it online. Here's a bullet pointed run down of the place. Food quality: Great. It had the homemade taste coming straight from a proper pizza oven with just the right amount of toppings making it very easy to grab each slice. You won't be seeing a mile long string of cheese. Food preparation: I ordered it for a specific time and it was ready right when I walked in. The pizzas were piping hot and steamed up my windshield as I was driving back to work. I won't take away any points for it nearly killing me. It's not their fault. Value: I ordered two twenty inch pizzas which came out to just under $20 a piece. If that's not enough, I got four liters of soda at no extra cost. They may have given me extra soda because I was with a school, but I do know that a liter of soda comes with each pizza. Customer service: A nice friendly bunch of people. You'd have thought I was a goddamn celebrity by the way they treated me. We made a bit of small talk while they were getting my order together. They just made it very clear to me that they appreciated my business. That's how you run a restaurant. If you're in the area and plan on ordering pizzas for a party, or if you just want a pie to bring home to the family, give these guys a try.

  • Jamey J.

my go to pizza place. very consistent pizzas and good quality toppings. also, they dont skimp out on the toppings either. there is always plenty of whatever you order on there. on a personal review note, i get bacon on pizza often, and they put it on top of the cheese, not under, so it gets crispy and doesnt get soggy under the cheese. ive really only had pizza and random fried veggies from here, which is really all you ever need. order from grand stand with confidence, and it will be a quality pizza at a decent price every time. its not the cheapest pizza, but you do honestly pay for what you get. high quality product. relatively quick delivery, but i usually pick mine up because i live pretty close.

The owners of Grand Stand Pizza have made my life very difficult...never again will I be able to eat pizza from anywhere else. And on the off chance that I try, I am a very unhappy girl. Best pizza around! Our weekly treat...stuffed spinach with extra cheese. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! Pizza is not all they do well at Grand Stand. Try the soup. Never had a bad bowl! Friendly staff, great food and fast delivery...what more could you ask for! And the Italian Ice...best I've ever had (sorry Johnnie's). Now we just need to convince them to open up early on Sundays so we could indulge while watching our beloved Bears. What do you say boss? Maybe just during football season...

  • Brianna L.

I have been preferring pizza from here just about my whole life! The veggie pizza is where it's at!! Its always tasty, but pricey since its not the one on the menu. I order * green olives, spinach, green pepper, broccoli, and extra garlic* mmm my mouth is watering thinking about it. Plain cheese pizza is kinda blah, your better off ordering a pizza bread! Also the maghrita pizza is really inconsistent, but none the less good.

Everybody in the 'burbs raves about Grand Stand Pizza, and rightfully so! It's the absolute ultimate in Pizzarifficness (new word alert) and their Super Salad with cheese, pepperoni, onions, olives, peppers, mushrooms and pepperoncini is to die for tasty and filling. I only wish we had Grand Stand in the city... it always turns out to be the best day when we're lucky enough to have a Grand Stand feast at the office. BEST THIN CRUST EVAH! You heard it here. Just the right amount of cheesy, greasy, tangy saucy delight, and with that faint hint of oregano on top... Mmm! I'm drooling like Pavlov's Dog just writing about it, it's sooo that good. Every large pizza order comes with a 24oz bottle of Pepsi (make sure to let them know ahead of time if you prefer diet soda) and delivery is rocket fassssst. Perfect for your next quick, easy and totally delicious zzzah meal.

Great pizza! I usually don't write reviews for places unless their service stinks, but this place was amazing! The employees are really nice, the place was clean, and most importantly, the pizza was delicious! Highly recommended if you're in the area.

I've lived near Grand Stand for a good portion of my life and have been eating their food since they opened. Grand Stand used to be much better, but like most pizzerias in the Chicago-land area now suffers from a split personality. One of the main things that separates a truly great restaurant from an average or bad one is consistency. Grand Stand has virtually no consistency. Sometimes the pizza crust is thin, sometimes thick. Sometimes the ingredients are fresh, sometimes stale and canned. Sometimes the calamari is cooked great, sometimes it's grease logged. Sometimes the girl answering the phone is paying attention, usually she isn't. You get the picture. This is another pizza joint that seems to be perfectly happy to rest on its laurels. This is especially noticeable since they won a "best thin crust pizza" award from Fox News a number of years back. Then only thing that could be worse would be a visit from "Check Please". Cutting corners is the name of the game right now and Grand Stand seems to have it down to an art form.

John is the owner. Bad service. If you listen to there voicmail they state that they don't get it right the first all the time but they will do there best. So I order and also requested the parm cheese and the pepper seeds. They forgot it. I left it alone and ate the pizza. I ordered a few weeks later. Same thing and they forgot the pop in addition to the parm cheese and pepper seeds. About a week later I order pizza again. This time ordered a deep dish with pop and pepper seeds. I get a thin crust, pop and pepper seeds. They said they would refund the money. Lets see if they screw that up now.

I've been coming here & ordering here for over 6 years and it's always been consistent. I specifically always order pizza from here so I can't comment on much else, but the pizza is great. One of the best thin crust pizzas here in the suburbs. Delivery is always quick and friendly, pick-up is always ready, and the prices are very fair. They make easily the best bacon pizza I've ever had (yes, bacon pizza, don't judge me), and I can't seem to find any other place that makes it how they do. I've ordered bacon pizza from nearly half a dozen other places and I don't think I've even finished a slice from them. But when it comes to Grand Stand, I always seem to finish a medium pizza to myself. The restaurant itself is quite small on the inside, so beware if you're trying to eat there with a group larger than maybe 6 people or so. I don't know the specific hours but they're open later than most pizza places, which is convenient.

Hate that this review can't be completely positive but I'm sure it doesn't matter The girlfriend and I were looking for pizza and she found this place while I was driving. Nothing is great about this place; alot of regular. We ordered 2 slices and had to wait over 20 mins for them even though the place was empty. The slices were small and I felt like the service could've been better. The pizza itself was just ok, but you don't wait over 20 mins for just ok 2 stars

  • Chris B.

Grand Stand used to be my all time favorite pizza joint. The thin crust was crunchy and the toppings fresh. The last few times I've ordered from there, the crust has been soggy and tasted like a wet book. As disappointing as their pizzas have gotten, I cant bring myself to order from Jakes. Little Ceasers can weigh against Grand Stand now. I hope they get things back to the way it used to be.

I was visiting a friend at their hotel in the area & we ordered delivery from here. She ordered pizza, cheese sticks, bruschetta & soup. Delivery time was quoted at the usual 45 mins on a Friday night around 9:15pm. Our food arrived about 9:45pm & was nice & hot. I'm always skeptical when I see "voted best" on the box, it was very good, maybe not the best in the area as it claims, but I haven't tried any other places near here so I can't attest. I only got to taste the pizza so I'm not sure how the other food was but my friend didn't complain so I guess it was alright.

Excellent pizza with super-friendly owners. When you eat here, you know your money is going to good people. They are quick with a smile and it's a genuine one. Besides the pizza, their beefs/combos are also very good. I ate here hundreds of times when I was living in the area and always left very satisfied. I'm glad they were a block away, it was always a fail-safe for the question, "Whatcha wanna eat."

The pizza here is absolutely excellent. Pick up is usually very quick. I have not tried delivery, as I live just a few blocks away from this place. The pizza crust is award winning - I usually get the thin crust and it is always crispy.

Pizza is good staff is stupid wings are horrible. Spent forty something on dinner and the wings were hard and crunchy. We called, they said they would credit us. Unfortunately i did not ask how much the credit was because it was not enough to even cover another order of wings, all because i didn't ask to speak to a boss! Just go to Sorrento's, much better food and service.

I'm surprised this place doesn't have more reviews. Everybody in the area raves about it, from personal experience probably the best pizza in Franklin Park. It even won a Fox News Chicago award. On the other side of the token, I don't eat here that often, cause there is better pizza within' a five mile radius. For example, Pizza Joynt in Northlake.

My Grand Stand Pizza Experiences: I pick up the phone and order a large thin crust pizza, half pepperoni and half Hawaiian. The lady on the other end can barely hear me (that's classic phone lady right there), so I say it louder and complete my order. 20 minutes later my pizza is ready for pickup. I bring it home and open the box, letting the smell waft throughout the house before grabbing four slices. The crust is perfect, being somehow chewy and crunchy at the same time. The spices of the sauce mesh with the thick, gooey, ever-so-slightly-toasted cheese piled high with meat. I eat 12 slices and feel sick. I put the scant leftovers in the fridge for tomorrow's lunch and eat it cold the next day. Grand Stand is the only pizza that's good cold, I think to myself. Repeat.

My favorite thin crust pizza in the area. Been eating there since I was a kid and nothing else around comes close. They open pretty late on the weekend, which sucks when you want to get a pizza for lunch.

Good for a quick filling slice of pizza. Nothing awesome, but nothing bad either. I am not running around excited about this joint; but its good for what it serves. A root beer and a slice do me well enough.

I grew up close to Grand Stand, eating it often, and will always and forever base my future pizza experiences with Grand Stand as the foundation. I've traveled the world, Grand Stand has the best thin crust pizza I've pleasured so far. Panzerotti's are pretty tasty too! Lots-O-Cheeze!

Thin crust pizza at this place rules! Pretty fast delivery and open later than most places! Don't get me wrong, I also like their other food too, but for me, it's the thin crust pizza that stands out!

The pizza is really good and cheap, and it's a stone's throw from where my parents live. This place deserves 4 stars alone for the mere fact that everytime I do venture out to Grand Stand I see some "popular kid" (now a total loser ) who I went to high school with working here.

Their double-dough pizza rocks! I ordered two family size pizzas for my Fantasy Football draft, and the entire league loved it. Plus they're open late, so you really can't ask for more.

My family has ordered from here since they opened my brother swears by the pizza. Me? It's convienient. Never had an issue always delivered hot. But it's just okay. I cannot seem to find any pizza places that have "SAUCE" on the pizza. Not some watery version of it. The crust is great I love onions but here they are diced and mushrooms are canned. If this place could step it up on the sauce, serve fresh mushrooms, and slice their onions I would be much happier. I order Calamari everytime it's always fresh and tasty.

Me and the girlfriend decided to order from every pizza place in the area to see which was the best. Grand Stands pizza is pretty good, though Jakes definitely has the better thin crust. We ordered mozzarella sticks and fries with our food, but the appetizers were not good at all. Soggy fries and lukewarm mozzarella sticks. Maybe would order the pizza again if I craved something different, but there are better places around.

This place is pretty good. I come here maybe twice a month or so. It is the closest place to me, usually pretty quick. I only had an issue once when they gave me the wrong pizza when I went in for a pickup, but they gave me my money back and a free pizza the next time. Can't hold that against them. The pizza is definitely above average, and Ive tried the food items a few times. The pulled pork is excellent.

My middle school was right down the street from here, and after school some friends and I would go hang out there. The pizza tastes great although kind of expensive. The italian ice is extraordinary. They drag to deliver, so be prepared for a long wait.

NEVER AGAIN! Ordered food, ($35 worth) and was delivered ok, except the empty container of Ranch dressing WITH FINGER MARKS IN IT! Brought back to Grand stand, and questioned them about the garbage in my food order. They said it was not garbage, just empty. They had the BALLS to tell me to eat it, and that they would not replace it! I was ordering at least once a week, but never will again. That was 3 years ago....

I have had some trouble in the past with my orders being messed up with delivery, but things are working find now. dispite what Fox news may have said I don't think its the best pizza although it is good. Definitly best stuffed pizza though I do enjoy that quite a bit. Grand Stand does serve lots of other goodies like thier pasta dinners are amazing as well as a lot of the appetizers. Overall I really enjoy the food and living just a few blocks away it also makes for a nice dine in option.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
